The most reputable investment banking school is one that produces a large number of analysts and has a huge alumni network within the finance industry. They are often known as target schools, and the large bulge bracket banks typically reserve positions for students from these schools to join their analyst programs.
Ivy League schools such as Harvard and Yale although this is a generalization, are well recognized for their ability to produce investment bankers.
